Skyrocket Your Income With High Leverage Clients

Last week I gave a simple hint for immediately becoming more effective and increasing your income. Have you taken advantage of that simple tip? Here is another tip that will require a little more effort and faith, but your income will skyrocket and you will see incredible improvements in your life.

We have all heard of the 80/20 rule, also known as Pareto's Principal. It states that 80% of one thing is the result of 20% of something else and vice versa. In the case of your business, 80% of your net income results from 20% of your effort. Similarly, 80% of your net profits comes from 20% of your customers. Once you realize this and take advantage of it you will see drastic improvements in your business. They key is to focus your business.

The first step is to figure out who those 20% are, and what makes them special. These are your "high leverage customers." Once you know how to differentiate the desirable 20% you can focus your marketing efforts on finding and only accepting that group as your new clients .

The second step, and this is just as important, you need to get rid of the other 80%. Yes, this step does require a small leap of faith, but it is a necessity. Once you get rid of that group that is sapping 80% of your effort and energy you will find your to do list will shrink, there will be less clutter in your mind, and as a result, you can focus your efforts and provide better service to your high leverage customers.

As you can see, combining these two steps you will increase your income dramatically, cut your workload significantly, and skyrocket your income per hour.
