Here is something for you to think about. How much do you spend on training every year? As I previously mentioned, I was at the Glazer-Kennedy conference a few weeks ago. There were over 900 people there and many of them were multi-millionaires.

Experts say that most successful people spend at least 10% of their income every year on training. For example, if you earn $100,000 you should spend $10,000 of that on training. This is not just a myth perpetuated by marketers trying to get you to buy their products. The more classes, workshops, and mastermind groups that I attend the more I realize (Continued Below)

There they are in the produce aisle at the local grocery market. Heads of lettuce ready to be chosen by the consumer. Wait a minute – they all look the same. They are the same color, same size, same price, same packaging, and even marketed all the same way. You know, the spinach is really starting to look good right now! This is not just a myth perpetuated by marketers trying to get you to buy their products. The more classes, workshops, and mastermind groups that I attend the more I realize that people who are successful really do spend 10% of their income on training and self-improvement.

Many of these people spend $50,000 to $100,000 and more a year on training and self-improvement every year. Think about what income it takes to spend that much. That includes classes, workshops, networking, reading books, mastermind groups and much more. They are able to spend that money, not because they are lucky, but because they have the right self-discipline and focus. As Jim Rohn has said "Rich people have big libraries. Poor people have big TVs." And, James Brausch suggests, cancel those magazine subscriptions and read more books.
